Basically he said that there are no plans for Argentine vehicles currently (plans, it’s a future word). And seeing the treatment that was given to the pucará, I confirm that there will be no Argentine vehicles. I mean, you can expect them to tell you literally (they won’t) or you can hope for years like an idiot (I’m tired of that). He chose to turn the page.
Same thing my friend, it’s a shame. I’m tired of the snail’s treatment of the German community.
If you put a Tiger against an M4A1 it is clearly “lack of balance”
If you put an F-4 in front of an F-15C it is clearly “historical accuracy”
Im not gonna lie though the whole f4 phantom thing does upset me but for two reasons, i get that germany is upset that they dont have a capable fighter but for an update but this isnt new. Sweden and Britain got basically nothing to fight against f16’s and mig 29’s for quite a few patches and they didnt complain as much as the german have about this. Im an avid hater of this type of shit and would like to see a compromise come like a stop gap f16 but here we are. All i can say is at least the KWS is getting better armament to fight against these 4th gen fighters so it gets to be a glorified missiles bus just like sweden and britain were. (Though Britain got more vehicles during this time which helped. Sweden got another viggen at 11.7 which btw doesnt fly great unless you’re in sim controls imo. Especially after the AOA was nerfed. Also the AJS 37 came in at 11.3 and was food. (Not gonna mention the tornado cause that bus had its own hell when it came to flying) These vehicles had to get shit on before getting into a better BR. Overall i get the frustration and im probably gonna go crazy trying to spade it alongside the fact that i think the KWS shouldve been in the game for a while now, but here we are. You can put up with the KWS for a patch or two just like Britain and sweden did.
See then theres that one post i saw where a german players asks for the Eurofighter for britain and Italy and germany(two of those nations got a gripen honestly i dont think they should get another fighter but i also think they should get it, they bought it.) The guy basically said germany should get it first but they also need it. Like dont bring them up, your brought them up so it doesnt seem like you’re a german main. Its events like this that brings out the worst in players and i am one of those players im not gonna lie about it. I play multiple nations but i play one nation the most cause its fun. It has my comfort br. Though usa 9.3 is replacing that slowly lol.
If for no other reason, the M1A2T is a variant of SEPv3 with exact configuration currently being unknown- we’ll probably have to wait until late this year to even begin to figure out what it has, and I’d imagine any possible implementation of it to probably be beyond the scope of the foreseeable future…
We largely experimented with light tanks back when there was still the stated goal of reclaiming Mainland China (since light tanks suit Southern China better whereas M48s of the world were thought to be useful only once the campaign would reach the Central Plains).
Personally I’d really like to see F-CK-1 and XA-3/AT-3 (preferably the former) implemented. But I am unfamiliar with Gaijin’s willingness to model them; I just like varieties (and for nationalistic reason lol), even differences between different users of the same machine (i.e. AIM-120A for American F-16 ADF and AIM-120C for the Italian one).
I was thinking of making the suggestion of the Argentine sub tree for Germany, I think that Argentina is perfect for Germany not only because they already have Argentine tanks in the German tree but also because in the air field Argentina created its own planes with the help of German engineers who escaped from their country such as the Pulqui II, I mean, even historically it is correct and would give Germany very unique aircraft.
@Smin1080p Will the Soviet fighters be receiving any sort of laser guided ordinance this update? They are pretty much the only country with out a multirole fighter that can use at least laser guided bombs or missiles. There was a bug report accepted when the aircraft was introduced but there has been no update on whether it will receive KAB-500L, Kh-29L, and Kh-25ML along with the T220, Sasan-E or PDLCT anytime soon.
I know, it’s as you say and it’s what gaijin gave us to understand all these years (since 2018 to be more precise). However, now we have nothing.
There is still the option of a combined Latin American tree, which still has certain “obstacles” unresolved.
Because nations are now receiving several subtrees (South Africa+India in the UK, Nordic countries in Sweden, Benelux in France, Hungary, Romania in Italy) I think Israel could receive a combined subtree between Chile and Argentina.
It is still the best option for Argentina (now that they have denied Germany) and it makes a lot of sense, since Argentina, from the 70’s to this day, has a lot of technology and military cooperation with Israel.
At this point, the existing Argentine vehicles should go from Germany to Israel and should give Germany the TH-301 and the TH-400 among hundreds of other vehicles that Germany has yet to implement. I never understood why they put the Argentine vehicles in Germany. When the subtrees arrived I thought it was about Argentina being a German subtree, since there is no other logical explanation…
Even the Argentine SK-105 was converted from version A1 to A2 with Israeli technology. Several vehicles of the tam family (S21, 2C, 2CA2, 2IP, VCLC and VCA were modernized with Israeli technology). Argentina bought the Mirages IIICJ from Israel, along with the Nesher, then Israel modernized them to IAI Dagger and IAI Finger, the Argentine A4 received Israeli defas, Israeli missiles and bombs, in addition to the blocked purchase of the A-4E for the Argentine navy and the Argentine navy operates several ships of Israeli origin. The pampas and pucaras were modernized with Israeli technology. Cooperation with Israel began in the Malvinas conflict and is still valid and very strong today.
Argentina operates and operated vehicles of French and American origin, as does Israel, so they would maintain a technological identity, in addition to the fact that Argentina has many light vehicles, compatible with the enormous number of Israeli heavy vehicles. In cultural terms, Argentina has the largest community of Jews in Latin America.
Therefore, denying Germany and seeing that nations receive multiple subtrees and considering that Israel is one of the most needy nations, Argentina could be, along with Chile, a very good and solid option.
Even Chile and Argentina have an integrated binational force with a joint general staff to consider them a political-military bloc, like Benelux.
