Hmmmm, this is peculiar.
There are a few F-5 variants that are indeed better, most notably the F-5EM operated by Brazil and F-5E-2000 operated by Taiwan. Again, just saying these might come as well.

But I think part of that is what the Skink project truly was.
Well the one on a the Grizzly hull was the only one built if it entered full production it would have been a turret you could put on any Sherman hull(and other things that have the same turret right size as the Sherman)

yeah i really dont now why they put it at 5.3.
4.7 where it started was the perfect Br.
you had a lineup around it and it was basicly a bedder armored wirbelwind but with less penetration as tradeoff.
the ZA truck is fine at 5.3.
Also that we dont have any AA from 5.3 to 8.3 is debatable since we can consider the Ratel 20 at 6.7 a cheap R3 knockoff AA with and atgm launcher slaped on it

The reasons I have seen people say the Skink is “Bad” Is because of its BR Placement. That’s one of the reasons that I’ve seen so commonly about the Skink.
Back when it came out and sat at 4.7 People would use the thing the second there was a enemy plane up in the air, but after it got moved up to 5.0 almost immediately most people who were using it became split:
Those who think its still good regardless of what BR As long it isn’t 6.0 or higher
Or people think its crap now and used the ZA Trucks instead of it.
I hope the addition on AI SAMs brings ARMs to the game, doing S/DEAD would be fun
