Guys after finishing up KWS i think its time to discuss the SHAR FA.2, tornado CSP and J-8F.
Tornado CSP - extremely immobile but fitted with very powerful avionics, should come with AIM-9M stock otherwise the stockgrind will be painful
SHAR FA.2 - same as above
J-8F - comes stock with rear-aspects at 12.3, lacks any IRCCM capable missiles, should come with PL-8 stock and the high end missiles replaced with PL-8B with FOV reduction IRCCM
Is anyone not a little upset the Viggen Mod D did not get Aim-120s?
It has one of the most power radars irl… would make a nice 12.0-12.3 imo.
The injustices we would have rioted over on the last forum are completely forgotten now.
I am almost certain GJ simply forgot to give that vehicle Aim-120s… Thats how irrelevant such a good aircraft IRL has become by sheer lack of interest by the community & developer.
The generous interpretation is that they’re waiting to see how this “first wave” of Fox-3 goes before adding to planes that would realistically need a lower BR to be viable?
12.0 is a bit on the low side don’t you think?
We could update the JA37C with AIM-9L and bump it up a little bit, and then give the JA-37D RB74 (AIM-9Li?) and AMRAAM at 12.7.
I think it should have atleast the same BR as the F-4F ICE if that were to happen.

Because SHar without AMRAAM would just be an FRS.1 with a better engine and AIM-9M (or a worse GR.7) and I (and others apparently) feel it should be 12.0 anyway. The fact it’s 12.3 hints to me that they want to initially avoid those “lower” BRs and, frankly, seeing how a platform as poor as a Harrier I performs with AMRAAM will be a good indicator of how significant an impact the new missiles are having. I wouldn’t be surprised if the FA.2 ends up moving down (assuming there isn’t more decompression).
& Viggen Mod D with sky flashes is just another Viggen Mod C.
Mod D is the designation for the Aim-120 capability.
It’s actually not a real Viggen Mod D without Aim-120s. It’s just a Mod C available at two BRs 11.0 & 11.3.
The Aim9Ls do not determine its variant. The Aim-120 capability & deployment that did.
That was the final upgrades to require to give it the variant designation.
Which game mode is that? Air Rb? Sim?
If it is sim, atleast it won’t get uptiered 100% of the time if it’s 11.7.
If they make 12.0, they might as well raise further and give it R-77
Go fly the sea harrier, you can test drive it as its a squadron vehcile. Get up to the max speed on the deck and pull a 90 degree turn, youll see it drop down to 400kph and become a bus. the av 8b and shar are WORLDS apart in fm as the shar is ALOT havier with (what feels like) more drag than the gr 3 let alone gr 7. where an av 8b could feesibly dog fight a gen 4 jet, as its what i do in my gr 7 anyway, the shar has no hope and will have to fly like a worse tornado and the tornado is going to struggle anyway.
Armement cannot carry this plane, it has a worse fm than the a 10 and su 25 as its only posotive is straight line speed which becomes quickly usless at this br where your not the only jet with a 1:1 power to weight ratio.
11.7 would be stupid, 12.0 is the bottom limit for ARH, just as 10.7 should be for 9l caring jets. but they should also make it so 11.0 can never see 12.0, would allow for more jets that were not gonna be added due to the balancing nightmare, as most 11.3s and above can deal with these jets well enough however some 11.0s would simply die upon sight lol.
