They never had one IRL. They returned their ADVs to the UK and got F-16s instead for AMRAAM. They should get an F-16A (late) though

And proof that’s the reasoning here? I’m pretty sure Smin confirmed it way back that Gripen A gets 9Ms because they’re pretty much the exact same thing as the 9Li’s, so no point in adding an identical missile.
