or if your flying the sea harrier, its a hostile on your radar untill you get a TK… the moment you realise you cant trust the radar is not great… only the sea harrier and british phantoms seem to have this problem with their iff.

Right. So give it 9Ms as stand-ins for the 9Li, they did that for the Gripen A. No need to add it when a missile that already fulfills the exact same niche is already in the game.

The got that cause the Hungarian Gripen uses 9M’s.
They never had one IRL. They returned their ADVs to the UK and got F-16s instead for AMRAAM. They should get an F-16A (late) though
