120ds most likely wont save the ge, before the 12 missile loadout and bol it was just a slightly better f15c, now its a slightly better than that

well yea bvr is impossible with the f18e currently, mainly since they spawn you at snail speed
whats the sm2’s downside
I disagree wholeheartedly and think you need bvr to stay alive in the hornet.
it climbs about as fast as the f15c and it also spawns much faster
You can do TGP + LEGION with the miniaturised version called LEGION-ES.
It sits on the pylon used for HTS.
I can’t find anything real life images but a contract has been awarded for it to be fitted to Taiwan’s F-16V’s but should still be able to work with the PoBIT.

your just using the wrong tactic…
any plane can do bvr. i can even do bvr in a f4 kws.
eh ive never had a good experience trying to bvr w the thing, its best to just hide off to the side or stay low then snake people
to be fair, the f4f is quite a bit faster than a hornet.
it really cant though, youre already the slowest plane at that br, and you spawn slower than everyone else, by the time you reach the speed and alt for bvr your rwr is gonna be going nuts
id legit be landing in my euro or f15e by the time you get to good bvr parameters and its not even funny
unless your smart and decide to go around the spam fox 3 and flank the enemy by the side.
yea i just said the f18e is best played by snaking and going off to the side
