Major Update "Ninth Wave" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

What if we told you that this kind of applies to the US right now? lol

the r77s were much stronger at shorter range than 120s, and most fights happen in shorter ranges

not when seek and destroy released

i was fine with the european countries dominating for a while, but at this point its kinda ridiculous, they give everyone their most powerful modern vehicles, but the usa gets a 6 missile trashcan

F-15EX would be a viable competitor, an F16 with a worse engine, bad AESA, low CM and low missile load is not.

what do you mean

f15ex

the AMRAAM was the best missile in every regard

the AMRAAM had to be nerfed after the update released and pretty much every other fox-3 got buffed

the ex wouldn’t really be 14.7 material until it gets better missiles anyway. it’d pretty much be a reskinned f15ge that could accelerate a bit better.

or f15e rmp if you somehow think the ex is too advanced

no it would, 16 120ds is perfectly fine for 14.7, even 15.0 at some point

120d sure if its an improvement, but if 120d is a reskinned c-5 i dont see why it should be 14.7.

I highly doubt that the EX would hold up to what you guys are claiming

Its only advantage would be the ability to literally spam AMRAAMs without having to think about the quality of a launch for a second

Yes, they can use LEGION IRST and also LEGION-ES which is just a mini version that is mounted on the opposite pylon to the TGP. Currently LEGION-ES is for the F-16V but should otherwise be compatible for the PoBIT.

If Gaijin did they could add Sniper’s/LITENING’s air to air mode which works as a makeshift IRST.

just having 16 missiles is enough ngl, and its a good airframe unlike the f18e

which is 90% of why the su30 is so good currently, you can waste missiles and not worry about it

F18e works fine for me. well even.

i mean for close range brawling sure, but you can never fly high and be on the offensive since youre so slow

If that was true, the F/A-18s would dominate too

Very nice to see the Centauro 2 and J-15.
