Yeah, the least they could do was not add the F-15EX over a year after it could have been added, and now it’s probably DOA as it is looking like it’ll be 2 years from the point in time that it could have been added. US air is bleak from this point on.
Compared to what all other nations had the F-15s added in that first update of the Fox-3s were by far the strongest as they could fire AMRAAMs with the most energy and the longest range. They could quite happily keep everyone else at bay. Then they went and made it even worse by adding the F-15E/I that did the same but a lot better.

Yep, maybe so, but the Euro-deltas were the only thing that could possibly have been added to counter the F-15s.
But F-14, then into the F-16s and then F-15s was a very long run of US dominance. Only really broken up by the Gripens being a match to the F-16s
