Next topic of debate: can we ever expect to move on from “plane, tank (not so much this, as there are objectives in a way, but it still ends in you effectively wiping the enemy team), naval” TDM gameplay?
The loop is endless
Bombing bases (at least, nearer to and at top tier) does nothing for ticket drain or progression really and every game ends in eliminating the entire enemy team, never ticket drain.
Gamemodes with actual objectives… not ‘delete the enemy team, win’. That gets repetitive. It is repetitive.
I’m glad we’re working on new stuff like Infantry, but that only serves to divest attention away from the core game and its issues (some of which are long-standing).
Simple things, incorporate SEAD ‘gamemode’ into the RB ‘playlist’, so it’s not Alternate History or Operations all the time with the same exact TDM format. We have varying categories of aircraft in the game for example. If we just leave things as is and only fighters “get to eat”, what about the bombers? strike fighters? they can fight, sure, but with great difficulty and that’s sort of outside of its scope as it’s not what they were designed to do.
Anyways, I’m waffling and it’s Saturday night so I will… put this delicious pint down and go read a declassified manual or something.
Not unless they’re forced to, since this refusal literally results in game bugs where it doesn’t hit the target at all. The only report on this was incorrectly shut down as the mod treated it as a historical report rather than a game bug report so hopefully Smin can provide clarification.
ARB no. Its built entirely around short, fast matches. There simply isnt time for anything else.
ASB does exist which is more often than not won not by A2A kills, but A2G gameplay, but… they forget the gamemode exists, and thus barely any interesting objectives or mechanics for the PvE side of PvPvE
Long been requests for an RB EC gamemode and there is the Aerial warfare gamemode that the devs said they are picking at slowly, but could be months or years away
I’m aware, but that’s just regular Enduring Confrontation in Simulator difficulty. That’s to be expected.
I do agree that there needs to be more variety in objectives/mechanics though. If I have to blindly (and freely) attack defenceless bases all the time from stand off ranges it gets boring after a while.
Give us new types of bases. SAM sites. Refineries. HQ. All guarded by some form of AA (of course, it would be nice if they weren’t all active at the same time…) to make actually destroying them difficult.

worst part is we actually used to years ago get this it was like a thing that happened every now and then on the weekend similar to how naval EC us to be a weekend event but then they stopped doing it and it has never come back again (im talking like 2019)

Yeah, Falcon really shouldn’t stay at the same BR as the Marksman and the ZA-35. No country needs 3 SPAA at the same BR.
theyre the exact same type of missile, the main difference is that the pl15 is much better, just cause it reaches much further it doesnt mean its a different class of missile
