Okay, call me crazy but I swear we have been asking for the gbu-53, like all they would have to due is essentially copy paste the spice bombs but instead they gave us a worse jdam-er why, what does this addition even due it doesn’t add a new CAS capability worth choosing over others, it doesn’t even give the US a fnf bomb or new seeker type lol.
I’m glad its added but man am I upset that this was added before the gbu-53 or even just the C variant of its self. to be fair the card could be place holder and it could be IR guided on live.

Its a LWIR imaging seeker, I don’t see why it couldn’t lock onto something like a tank
the official primary information says stationary land targets and moving maritime targets
