coming back to add on to this i just looked at how many “accepted” bug reports there are for stuff like the t90 and t80 compared to the challenger and it makes it look painfully obvious
I see, thx
To be honest, as a subsonic missile, the SLAM-ER probably doesn’t have much higher survivability than the AGM-65, but at least it can be launched from a far distance. However, I think Gaijin probably doesn’t have the production capacity to make the SLAM-ER properly right now, even though it’s basically a U.S. version of the KH-59 with NVD (in the game). Basically, it’s just a matter of taking some parts, modifying a few things, and then putting it into the game.

(MiG-29 HMS should only designate missiles ±12 degrees horizontally and ±12 degrees vertically)
Then how would the Mig let off high offbore R73 if it can only go about 15deg off boresite? this doesn’t seem super credible even if the report was accepted.
Radar lock, perticularly using the ACM mode that extends above the aircraft quite a bit
Hmm, seems very sus if you ask me. The entire point of the mig was the r73 in combination with that HMS. It should be able to go at least 40 degrees above the nose based on everything i’ve read. Now the current 60 degree limit is likely too high on the older migs but should be accurate for SMT and 29m.
was just regurgitating an accepted report
I’ve brought it up with the report author

Which one is this from?
Day 1104 of waiting for Polish tech tree
Random question I don’t want to make a thread for, but why hasn’t the M3a3 Bradley gotten any of the BUSK kits? are we waiting to add a more modern Bradley or something?
They will probably do that and give the new Bradley busk kits
Yeah probably waiting for a new Bradley.
Then they make it so that you can’t take the BUSK kit off, so they can pretend it’s actually useful (while in reality it will mostly be dead weight that will only slow you down in game)
Busk III can stop 30mm apfsds on the frontal arc afaik which would help it quite a bit if coupled with the a4 engine upgrades so it’s not slowed down too much. Plus it looks cool.
It will help for about a week until people figure out that the ERA doesn’t cover a lot of important area.
Just spray anywhere above the ERA and the Bradley will get melted.
I mean yeah, but it would reduce your weak points.
