I never quite got the color code tbh
- White wings => Early SARH ?
- Red wings => Late SARH ?
- Green wings => Early ARH ?
- Blue wings => Midle ARH ?
What next ? Purple for advanced ARH (AIM260, Meteor, PL-17, R37M ) ? X)
I believe there is no fixed correspondence. The same missile might be represented by different colors on different aircraft.

I think there used to be a system in rhe colors, but now it feels like it’s just random.

We had our opportunity for a rework. I can’t quite remember why it wasn’t implemented though.
Was it because Gaijin has such an extreme track record of butchering new mechanics, that the people didn’t want to deal with the inevitable fallout from that? Or was it because people would rather have skill-less gameplay?

Its funny so many problems would have been avoided by the APHE remodel.
