maybe, just maybe the aesa radars will have no issue, however.
Currently the eft can detect the front aspect f117 at like 20 km but can not lock until under 10 and supposedly stuff like the f22 and j20 should be stealthier so it will depend if they base it off case claims or by their own RCS calculations how it is right now.
however I do have a question regarding the f35 vs eft thing cause I’ve heard this a few times do we have literally any knowledge of the circumstances, like i.e. rear or side aspect, lock/tracked or just scanned I’m really interested in this case.
I think we should all get more accustomed to the idea that there is a by now unginishable Priority list for Bug reports, suggestions and additions in WT development and unless it’s absolutely necessary changes like these will not happen at all, nobody will look at them and nobody will work on them simply because other things have priority (new Pantsir and Girthy engine model for J15 are obviously more important)
Also; changing coaxial MG ammo count from 1,900 to 1,700, or a top speed from 54.38 km/h to 54.70 km/h… much more important than a whole family of top tier tanks being unable to drive properly or another family missing integral parts of their protection xD
goddamn even a single google search would have told me the f117 would have a smaller rcs without RAM lol, I do wonder how much ram coating would affect it though.
to be fair we will not know the ram rcs for like another 100 years
i know lol, but it is funny to imagine in your head that this ram coating might,(might it isnt but you never know lol) just make it 1 million time less detectable. I just want to see a b52 covered in just ram and being like all of a sudden have a 1m^2 RCS
to be fair if ram was this super amazing massively radar absorbing coating we would see them on literally every jet.
