what makes the F-16C PoBIT a good top tier jet for 14.3/14.7?

More likely it’ll be 14.0-14.3 lacking missiles would be a valid reason imo to keep it at 14.0, but with the radar it’s better than the current 14.0 F16 compression moment
it had the 120D’s in the trailer though, so i dont think it will be the same BR as the F-16I, that would just be unfair. its at the very least going to be 14.3
because of the f16i being 14.0 im sure theyre gonna put this trashcan at 14.3

This is what gets me they acted like US is finally gonna be competitive again and then they drop an F-16 that is frankly a worse airframe than the one we already have
Aim-120D isnt even special either as its already been given out to other nations

Yeah, Im laughing quite hard. They were expecting a new super powerful top tier jet and they’ve gotten basically nothing. They finally know what most nations get for years on end

f22 entered service around the time of the rafale and euro but you dont see us begging for an f22, just a modern f15e

Eh, F-18C is the same BR as the F/A-18C so again it wouldn’t surprise me if it was 14.0 though I do agree I won’t be surprised if it is 14.3
