Major Update "Ninth Wave" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

Well it’s already on the NASAMS and already underperforming so imagine what missiles MICA and Python 5 are going to be like let alone good weapons like ASRAAM

I didn’t change the altitude, so this is engine performance at 100m. At altitudes like 4000-8000 the gap gets even bigger.

Just look at Sufa engine, it should be the same.

oh yeah those are broken

How does Gaijin determine the range of radars as displayed in “X-ray” view? In the dev stream the AN/APG-83 on the block 52 has a range of 160km, some sources claim up to 370km.

I don’t understand why they haven’t released modern IR msls like AIM9X, PL10, or R74M yet. I think the time is ripe.

160km is for an target the size of 3 square meters.

Underperforming, it’s very nice for missile, they put a common seeker with only IRCCM, and even so, many people die. Imagine it being launched from an aircraft at Mach 1.7, like the enemy’s 6. :)

I know but its hard to compare like that cause Sufa feels much heavier ingame

FIM-92K doesnt have any real IRCCM (works good on helis though) and aim-9m can be worse than 9L at times sadly.

on the stream atleast, the new f16c had the same engine name as the f15e engine

Is that the standard for the “x-ray” view? Does Gaijin share the formula used to calculate such detection range? It should be completely different for mscan and ESA radars.

The dev server is open now

Dev server is up, at least I’ve managed to log in.

Yeah, for the x-ray view range it is for aerial target of three square meters for RCS.
As for the other factors, I haven’t investigated it myself.

DEV SERVER is OPEN

Can someone see if Type 10s can now turn properly, please?

Maybe they’ve fixed the steering after 5 years…

I also don’t suppose the Merkavas have got their chains, right? xD

Any signs of regenerative steering?

The data displayed on the exhibition boards of various countries are measured using different standards, and the data from many radars is currently under confidentiality. Therefore, the performance of modern radars in the game largely depends on the subjective initiative of gaijin.

j10 is already bad at high alt + very low amounts of fuel capacity so sad

Derby er for spyder i love u gaijin
