The BTR-3 was interesting until I saw the drop on the ATGMs
Which basically just leaves the Stryker, but eh I want a break from 200 rpm autocannons (Ajax and Boxer vs BMPT kinda broke me lmao). Guess I’ll keep playing the Rooikat Mk.1D, Mars-15, and Scimmie, and hope they add a Scorpion 90 or similar next updoot.
It’s the same as the grenade launcher in the stream. I’d say the missile just isn’t finished yet considering how it has very little drop in reality. It’s also not beam riding in game yet, so another sign pointing at a placeholder.
Given some of the comments on the dev stream, most damningly the one about devs working through the night to get the AS-90 ready… eh. I don’t really trust Gaijin. They have a ship first, fix later mindset when time crunched :/
I’m fully excited for the F-16C (F-16s just have a special place in my heart due to their looks), J-15T, Dragoon, Centauro 2 and Eitan.
I’m lowkey excited for the BTR-3, German boxer and F/A-18F.
But I’m mostly just curious if there are more unknown hidden vehicles and what they would be.
That’s fair, I just don’t like ARH gameplay much so don’t bother.
Yeah! Hopefully something nice ground wise for France. I’m coping hard for an unlikely Scorpion as always too
will j15t be good meta wise? the pl12a kinda needs to be a huge upgrade from pl12 for j15t to stand a chance
Ye, finally a first TT Boxer :)

Because they isn’t Russian vehicle
I don’t think it will be meta with only 48 countermeasures.
However that doesn’t mean it will not be decent.
I am always surprised how much crunch there is in the Gaijin dev team when they always reiterate that they plan a year or more in advance and apperantly have models ready for release months before the patch.
There’s a chance of it’s countermeasure count being potentially increased
Based on sources? That would be nice.
Most people I have seen talking about it on this forum have only talked about it having 48 countermeasures.
Why is Russian getting a new SPAA?
Isreal is the real desperate nation that needs a new modern SAM system
as this reddit post said:

Yeah ive been waiting for 4 months for something new, at least give us the 9K330 Tor-M1 from Cyprus
I fully agree, or they should just start by giving us the I-DERBY ER now that russia is getting a missle that can almost go Mach 5 and can pull 75G’S
Day 1097 of waiting for Polish tech tree
they can add each one and they will still butcher them
yea it’s insanne they still are getting a new SPAA (at top tier) , when other’s are more i need …
like those are all the gap’s that exist that in my opinion need to be fixed , and yet no new stuff there.

Hey @Smin1080p_WT
Back in July 2024 when modern Fox-3s were added to the game, we had a major rebalance occur where all missiles received updated autopilots and drag coefficients. Here is the changelog for it.

In this old round of changes, the AIM-120A/B lost a large amount of its ability to pull Gs quickly, making it less effective at close range in order to make it better at long range. This eventually bled over to the AIM-120C-5 and now potentially the AIM-120D.
In light of this, I am lead to ask a few questions:
-
Do the devs feel the AIM-120 is performing how it should be?
-
If they feel the AIM-120 platform is performing how it should be, what is the justification? Do they have any historical sources, or is this purely based on balance?
-
If it is based on balance, and not historical sources, would the devs be willing to reconsider the current implementation of the AIM-120 family?
-
If it is based on historical sources, and assuming they can be discussed openly, what are the dev’s findings for the AIM-120’s performance? We have various bug reports (Report #1, Report #2) that display the AIM-120B’s ability to hit maneuvering targets in a variety of conditions, so I’m wondering if those have been factored in at all.
Please note I’m not coming in to argue, I’d just like some clarification if at all possible. Thanks in advance.
