feels like this happens 70% of the time when i get good launch conditions for a missile. i almost feel like its not even worth firing early game and you should just immediately notch to conserve missiles
You have to keep in mind everyone talking in this chat is in the top 10-15% of players in the whole game…kinda, the fact we are even talking about this puts us above most players that don’t even use their radar…they use HMS XD
TWS track on the smallest FOV for the C GE with C5’s can be a DEMON!!! Now give it 120D that has BETTER energy and my be Harder to defend in a notch ;) Daddy gonna be eating good if this comes to pass!
i havent had good experiences with these, how much of an advantage do they give and from how far out?
is there a reason for this? the AESA scans pretty quick and has real time TWS updates so i keep it at 70x15

The faster your TWS refresh the better your IOG updates!

dont AESA radars have instant TWS updates for all tracks? thats one of the main advantages

Kinda…but it does not seem like it. I have used the bigger Fov’s but it seems to me you get slower updates to target position…I want as close to INSTANT real time as possible! and I will give up a big FOV because your ESA memory is strong and you can just swing your radar back to refresh quick too.

Think its more that while theres some very welcome additions like hungarian air or the AS90 there isnt a proper headliner vehicle that we will instantly think of for this update in the future. Its not firebirds with the F-117 or storm warning with the Eurofighters, Its the readittion of WRF and another boxer
being able to shut off the munitions is HUGE and the ZOOM!!! :) I can’t tell you how many missed kills just from my missile tracking onto their missile -_-

its not like you can avoid this situation most of the time, you cant sit back and bvr people the entire round, youll be forced to get close eventually then youll be at a massive disadvantage
I watched the dev server after it was done and the NCTR icons showing up on the radar screen itself instead of only on the lock box is also such a nice QOL change.

also it isnt like other missiles cant bvr you as well, the mica is very good if you can get the rafale high and fast

While I am glad we got both the regular Me 210 Ca-1 and the Me 210 Ca-1 39M with the 40 mm gun and rockets, I think they should get combined into one vehicle (simply called the Me 210 Ca-1), where the regular gun loadout and the 40 mm modified gun loadout are both weapon selection options that you can choose between, like how on many Bf 109s you can switch between the nose mounted 20 mm and 30 mm gun, or on the S-199/Sakeen you can switch between gun loadouts. The bombs and rockets can be different secondary weapon options too. Other than the weaponry they are the exact same aircraft and they went by the same name, so it makes far more sense for the different weapon configurations to be options on the same plane.

Proper headliner vehicle? I could care less about that, fire and ice was all Finland yet the headliner vehicle was a BP Churchill I don’t really think that’s a big problem. The update is just all over the place
So they can sell it as a premium on release because it’s the “Top gun” plane.
