Major Update "Ninth Wave" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

F-16A Block 10 (RNoAF) and MiG-29M (9-15) model complete ?

I’m genuinely surprised you only just now realised this

Some people have hope inside and are Not dead yet 🫤

Mig-29M model got updated, and the AMRAAM C-5 (and D) got a little buff. More pull but still worse than the A and B

Show screen shots!!! What’s a “little buff” 😑

I assume this?

Nice, I haven’t really seen the MiG-29M so I didn’t know that one.

The Eitan also had it’s model updated (still far far from ready lol) and F-16C Bl.52 cockpit and countermeasure fix were the only changes I spotted.

@Smin1080p_WT Hello, are there any plans to model the new Hungarian Gebauer engine driven machine guns (such as the 1926/31.M in the cowling of the WM-21 and the 1940.M GKM in the cowling of the Héja II and WM-23) to have their rate of fire vary based on the engine’s rpm, like they did in real life?

Guys a question, how do you see the mig29m? It doesn’t appear in my dev server

You have to use a custom hangar.

do you know how by any chance?

you can use this method :
https://www.reddit.com/r/Warthunder/comments/1pfakl5/tutorial_on_how_to_test_fly_view_hidden_vehicles/
It’s name in files is : mig_29m_9_15

You can also do it through editing object:t=“###” in armor protection analysis replay files. So long as you are loading the edited .blk with an un-bought premium aircraft selected, you can then press “back” and go test fly it

Ed:- method was posted by @Darksssssshadow above^^

WarThunderDev.zip (8.2 KB)
Put these files into the War Thunder game folder and place:
hangarBlk:t=“hangar.blk”
Into the config.blk folder.

Then launch the dev server and select a US vehicle and the MiG-29M will be in the premium display section off to the right hand side of the hangar.

I really wish they’d remove/change bad weather, it makes ground battles super dark
It’s annoying playing pseudo-nightbattles without thermals.

Nice

IOG has drift, GNSS on top means the current drift “figure” is essentially set to 0. Essentially, the missile should have more energy in the terminal phase than non-GNSS’d missiles like everything before AIM-120D or PL-12A.

(This is the extremely simplified explanation)
