This game is known for classified documents, something that not even DCS, which while not being the most realistic or as big of a community, ever has to deal with. I legitimately think the issue is the fact that things already openly stated and confirmed, things that aren’t classified, won’t even be put in the game or even just represented somehow. Things need to be brought to the attention to everyone on how horrid the state of the game is. On how 2 classes of missiles (Fox-1 and Fox-3) are completely useless because of how easy a missile is fooled by notching or the fact that multipathing is a 100% garuntee miss allowing full squads of players to zoom across the map without a consequence until a Fox-2, on how easy it is to spawn camp because the maps are only 60nm long airfield to airfield, on how from take off most top tier jets and heck even the F-14 is already in range to fire their missiles, on how chaff isn’t stock on aircrafts that need it the most.
One of the biggest things i’ve heard complaints about and myself complained about is the map sizes, and the constant request for years ever since the F-14 for bigger maps. Something that is especially needed now and way before any PL-15, Aim-260, or R-77M ever gets in the game. This alone would fix the spawn camping problem considering if you make the map 400nm long (643km) where fuel is a limiting factor of how long a player can stay out and if you make maps at least that size people can get up in altitude (or sit on the deck) get speed and prepare for a fight while also making it to where the fight can be more spread out instead of a 2 mile spaghetti of Fox-2’s and Fox-3’s that make constant triple and quadrouble teams. Heck, even for ground realistic this will mean there’s a distinct amount of time before CAS can even reach the battle with their armaments.
Things just need to be done, and to be honest we need an entire update of no new vehicles and just 350-400nm maps, mecahnic fixes, remodel of weapon systems, and remodel of some flight models as well which will also probably come along with br changes since some aircrafts and their weapon systems will be buffed in different values.
I’d understand that obviously these fixes can’t be done this update and not all these requested fixes will be able to fit into just one update, but these things are needed for there to be a proper balance where a “meta” isn’t existent in the game.

I think they will appear sooner. Most likely, 5th generation fighters will already be available in December, at least because their proposals have recently been accepted, which usually means that this equipment will appear in the near future. Examples that I remember: claws was accepted and literally 2 months later it was added to the game. It was also accepted with type-03 and added to the game 4 months later. That’s exactly what I rely on
Leaklist said F-22/Su-57/J-20 first and then F-35 later. Recently Oxy and Smin have confirmed no F-22 this year.

Yeah, but I can’t see F-35 coming before F-22 for example. F-35 is way more technologically advanced and a lot of its features will need to be modeled in. Imagine how buggy the spherical 360 IRST will be.
