Should I add it as a December event vehicle, cause they still haven’t adding mig interceptors to tech trees…
Gang just use inner wing pylon fuel tank and drop them when going into dog fight.
Mig25 was added
And no even since its needed in tree
centerline fuel tank is better

BRO literały looking at this aircraft BR placement it Has so compressed armanament space, 6 Rockets and probally 2 bombs so if you want to go somewhere longer you cant have much bombs so CFT is very good sugestiom for this aircraft to have more fuel without taking armanament space for like bombs

What’s to prevent Gaijin from adding Mig-31 as a future event addition though? In fact, doesn’t the Mig-31 have a place in the game now or even earlier than today?

No, US F-16’s don’t have the plumbing for CFT’s. They could if the USAF decided to fit them in but there isn’t a need for them IRL since US F-16’s are supported by their large tanker fleet whereas export nations can’t rely on tankers and so their F-16’s have the capability for CFT’s.
Export nations added CFT capability when upgrading their fleets. Any that are noted as “insert block number”+ have this capability except for the Block 60 (UAE F-16E/F) or Block 70/72 (F-16V).

Because the US F-16’s simply can’t use them. It’s not a case of the US not having CFT’s in their inventory it’s that US F-16’s physically can’t connect them since they do not have the plumbing.
It’s like trying to put a sink in your bedroom without the required plumbing it just won’t work.
I’m still coping for FV101 ;-;

There’s really a lot of F-16s in the world you know, and many have received different modifications. Finding info on foreign F-16s will rarely be of any help to get stuff implemented on US ones, for that reason.
Especially since the one being added is a PoBIT, that’s not even quite the same block

But mig31b can guide multiple r33 at the same time.

Uses r37m and r77-1 r73 missiles.
Can use r33 and r40 tho
