Yes, but what you want on the plane is radar and missiles. At least what I want is a regular F-16 with better radar and better missiles.
if the plane is anything above 14.0 its not gonna be worth using with only 6 missiles, the gripen e at 14.3 has 9

F-16I has M-Scan and is 14.0 because it has Aim-120C5
This new F-16 with AESA, IRST and Aim-120D will be at least 14.0, if not 14.3

its not even like i dont like the f16, i do, but its not going to be competitive whatsoever just because it got a new radar and missiles, same exact situation the f15cge was in before, but the f16 doesnt have the option of getting 4 extra missiles like the f15 did

Honestly, we are still compressed enough to see little to no difference between 14.3 and 14.7, I rarely see any downtiers at 14.3.

I think you’re making conclusions too quickly. We don’t know anything yet about what the missiles will be like, radar, etc., etc., etc.
Though that is nothing new and has been teh same for years. Top tier cannot be uptiered. So it will see same tier or downtier.
I remember fighting F-16s constantly in the F3 despite being 0.7 BR lower at the time because it just got dragged up
maybe i am, but even if the 120ds were just micas on crack, the f16 still only has 6, and from everything ive seen people say the radar on it is gonna be on the weaker side of aesas we have ingame, but i wont jump to conclusions maybe itll give me a pleasant surprise tmr

Alongside that what you want it’s good performance that allows u to get all the extra power of the armament, not just new radar and missiles, look the F-18E
tons of armament that cannot be used to their max performance because of the platform
They could have also chosen F-16’s from the 480th FS out of Spangdahlem Air Base as they were actually the first active duty squadron to use SABR on their F-16’s. These also have Have Glass V paint which in my opinion looks better than the one Gaijin chose.

They didn’t change the engines. PoBIT mainly adds AESA, AN/ALR-69A(V) Digital RWR, IVEWS, and the Centre Display Unit in the cockpit. It doesn’t touch the engines.

Pretty sure Gaijin’s 169th FW livery in the trailer is supposed to be Have Glass V as well.
HG5 has been around since ~2012, long before PoBIT
The 148th FW (91-0391) livery on the existing F-16C is also supposed to be Have Glass V. It’s just pretty bad
