Anyways, I’m totally looking forward to ARMs
The CAS mafia can’t be bothered to kill SAMs using tanks, so the planes need a hard counter against SAMs
It’s even more popular now that FnF helis can hog all the kills
i just want the more modern spaas, i dont think arms are gonna be any better than kh38s that are already in game
Im hoping that they will be added alongside even badly bodged SEAD gameplay in ASB. combine with the fact that the Tonka Gr1/GR4 can run 2-4 without changing anything in their current loadouts its a nice little soft buff for those 2. Lack of gameplay is one of the biggest issues for Ground attackers at the moment, so if we do get some basic SEAD gamepaly, it just gives them more of a role
Of course, they’ll probably take 18 months to add anything to use ARM against in ARB and ASB

Against more modern SPAAs? Sure
But Gaijin likely isn’t gonna limit ARMs to modern ones and sitting in any of the older SPAAs (except for the Pantsir and maybe the Tunguska) and having to deal with ARMs basically means that you are stunlocked and cannot perform your job
All because killing anti air using tanks apparently is too hard

the problem is most arms that i know of are pretty slow compared to kh38s, and most planes cant carry many of them, so its just easy targets to shoot down

It’s not like it sucks being in a lobby where you only get table scraps while one guy hovers in the middle of the map and clears most objectives alone before others can even get to them
I think they’ve gone for this particular Block 52 simply because 93-0541 can be 100% confirmed to have the AN/APG-83 SABR
93-0541 on the intake cover
So that does mean it’s got F100-PW-229 rather than F110-GE-129
