HOWEVER a POBIT does get access to the Viper Electronic Warfare suite whereas the CM (unless something changed in the last 2 years) does not. It doesn’t get Anti-rad as part of POBIT that is not part of the program.
POBIT is Block 70/72 adjacent not equivalent.
POBIT has not been applied to F-16CJ/CM as they had a separate program as I mentioned above that added AESA among other things before POBIT was a thing.
lower velocity air clings to the skin of the aircraft, unless it has an internal diverter (unlikely) it will injest lower velocity air into the engine
increasing stress on the blades of the engine (Irrelevant to WT) but importantly reducing the thrust of the engine, as it has a relative lower average intake velocity, compared to a diverted inlet,
Diverterless inlets should have greater channel loss than Diverted inlets from what i make of it, as the higher the velocity of intake (in most cases) the greater the thrust produced
in reality it should probably have less affect at lower speeds, as there will be less friction between the air and skin of the aircraft going into the inlet, keeping the average intake velocity closer to the real velocity of the aircraft
neither
nor do i think gaijin models this
edit:
i hope this is just a forum bug, i’m certain i clicked reply to that comment
Jordan would be better off with the British since most of their ground are British made mods that could fill out the top quite nicely as for Saudi’s again they can be mostly British premiums for aircraft since most of their tech is British.
So far gaijin hasn’t stated any plans for Singapore to be with China last leak even the Chinese thought that was a bad idea.
The only logical place but we just have to wait and see
The PL-12A had identical stats to the PL-12 during the dev stream minus longer guidance duration which is concerning. Do they seriously think that a missile that is 15 kg or so heavier with a physically longer motor section and an advertised range of 120 km is identical to the PL-12 except for better batteries?
Unfortunately most information on the PL-12AE is from an AVIC social media post which was deleted… but we have range information from a defence expo at least.
I think China is probably off limits after the controversy (Japan too, but they won’t need another subtree anyways). So it’s really only between existing and future nations.
I don’t think Singapore could make a techtree, even with other nations, simply because they couldn’t hold the majority of vehicles. With reworked subtrees we could have a nice techtree for them, but they will still make lineups with nations that have more options available.
Personall, I think Israel is the best choice, Korea could be another but the connection isn’t nearly as strong as it would be for Israel and I haven’t heard from Singaporean players about this before either so I’m hesitant.
it’s probably gaijin being gaijin but i don’t understand why they would increase the CL now and not before. also yeah DSI does increase channel loss but not this significant, this has doubled the channel loss to like 7.2% now
While I’m pretty sure this is bait, I feel like a better ME sub nation/tree candidate for Britain would be Oman, since they operated a lot of British-built equipment (Jaguar, Hawk 103/203, Hunter, Strikemaster, Eurofighter, etc). Even then, a lot of it is stuff already in the British TT. Better to just add more South African, Canadian, and Aussie/NZ stuff…
