Japan doesnt have a 12.3 line up and at this point you can just go up to 12.7 anyway with up to 2 Type10 +TKX + 2 Typ90.
AJAX is replacing CVR(T). It fits with that line.

the j11b should have r77 and r73 as an option if we use that logic since it is compatible and the pylons can equip it and the radar still has the ability to launch them

You’ve got the Oplot-T as the only other 12.3 vehicle in that bracket. I think it would fit, not to mention it’s Thailand’s primary MBT along with the Oplot-T

Yes but why do a 12.3 line up with a underwheming VT4 when you can get the same/better matchmaking with a 12.7 line up with much better tanks. I really dont see why people want it. If you are a Thailand fan ok, but for the rest of the players its just 400k RP and 1mio Lions of wasted time.
I really hope that if it gets added at some point it, that gaijin will put it into a folder after the Oplot

Ajax is a Reconnaissance Tank, not an IFV, and is a direct replacement for FV107 Scimitar, which is in the right most line.

No that’s a fair reason. I guess for me I like the historical aspect more so and just like seeing everyone’s vehicles they used in service added but I can see why it’s also frustrating as it can be seen as another roadblock to top rank
