Yes and no.
They have a lower initial speed and a variable throttle, so for long ranged shots they’d throttle down, but because they are burning most of the time, instead of a short burst of high acceleration and then jsut traveling on initia, over a longer distance, they’ll maintain a significantly higher cruise speed

Exactly, the strength of the Meteor is that you basically cannot kinematically defeat it, especially on the tiny maps we have in war thunder, its the defeat the seeker or die.
The cost of that though is far more limited short range performance iirc.

Well, most of what they promised to reach the dev has already arrived, even the extra pylons for the F-15C GE.
I bet the last days of the currently extended dev will be related to tweak the Gripen E overall and to fix the few possible visual glitches remaining on new additions wether on textures or X-ray modelling.

I mean, if reports and rumors are to go off of, then yes it will be. Multi pulse motor with 200+ km range, something along the lines of up to 50g pull because of tv and an AESA seeker.
