As you’ve said there are not plans to change this aircraft from premium to the tech tree, but would the devs consider adding a tech tree copy of the MKK in addition to the premium, or a near copy (an MK2 for example would be incredibly easy to implement as it’s nearly identical if they want to claim differentiation)? This aircraft was highly anticipated by many people including myself but I’m not going to buy another premium for a tech tree I already have spaded when I could be buying some for new trees.

The same has been done with premiums that are incredibly close to tech tree aircraft like the Netz Mod, MiG-29 Sniper, the premium Tornado, just last patch with the premium JH-7, I’m sure I could find more if I opened up the game but you get the picture.

Likely their main questions are about what variants and (as he mentioned) how many.

For how many I’d say the issue is that the LAU-7 has only been seen on the outer two wing stations (STA 7 for the Sidewinder image, STA 2/6 for the P5 pod), so the consideration is likely if they should be included on the inner wing stations or not.

And for what variant, the one mounted and in Malaysian inventory was AIM-9L, but it would be fairly useless in game next to R-73E. They could add 9M instead since it would also be compatible with anything that can use 9L, which I personally hope so it might be seen in actual games.
But even then there’s the question to add both because 9L is historical or only 9M because 9L is redundant for example.

Anyways as long as it’s still being added I’m happy, and so far we at least know there’s no denial.
