Any chance for the gripen e to receive dual racks?

also out of curiosity are there any photos of the BMPT with the weird jagged ERA irl? I havent been able to find any

Its not really clear what you mean by this. Naturally if there is something incorrect and there is evidence to show it, it can be corrected.

Any update on the aster 30 bug reports? They have been accepted for 3+ months without action:

Quite annoying for a brand new sophisticated SAM to be gimped

Any updates would be reflected in the comments of each report.

gg, why is it taking so long

Simply the possibility of it getting wider scan ranges rather than 70° especially when 200° and greater are now in game, I haven’t been able to locate any source for their current implementation unlike the EFT, Rafale and Su30SM2 which is why I was wondering if their was any discussion in altering it behind the scenes, if they have a source then never mind I just haven’t been able to locate what led to its current implementation. Thanks though.

possibility of getting the sekrit documents they used please, pretty please, JK

Alright thanks, because the latest info was that Gaijin was still deciding details like how many could be carried.

I was just afraid R-77 arriving first would be a bad sign, but I guess it’s fairly straight forward to copy the R-77 laodout from the Russian one.

~3 months is nothing…

Aster 30 is the name of the missile, not number of reports

The wider ranges were added for those radars simply because sources can verify that. Sadly it can be added without some sort of evidence.

I misread.

No US AESA radar to my knowledge has a gimballed swashplate, which is what gives the European offerings their scan angles, so unless you can find evidence that it was gimballed then they won’t be buffed, because there is nothing there to be buffed

Yeah that’s what I kinda expected sometimes I’m saddened by how good are USAF security is sometimes.

Now the the golden eagle got the MRML racks, will the dual amraam racks on the belly also be added? And will these come to the f15e?

No it doesnt. Maverics use the same infrastructure between models and are integrated with the Gripen from the get go. Its not technically capable but actually integrated with them. Same situation as AIM-9L/M compatibility.

There is currently no evidence of these racks being functional or integrated on the GE.

Will the f15e atleast get MRML?

Were they ever functional?
Pretty sure there are FCS and Datalink restrictions on that many AMRAAMs
