Yea they coulda just not added that and mig-29n (Japan already has very good options at 13.0) and used that time to add something for Israel
See that’s what the GE should have been, a significant radar upgrade and just a ton of QOL features that would separate it from its earlier variant and make it feel like its worth the.3-.6 BR increase now I’m sad we didn’t get this instead of the GE or F/A-18E like I understand we probably needed the f18E by now but this sounds so much better lol.
Think of it this way you do sadly possibly have to wait either a week or 3 months but you will get the best US jet in the entire game for at least 1 maybe 3 updates.
Best us jet? Nah it’s solid but F-15SG ain’t an EX
in the game
Hehehe :P

I mean its a copy with extra weight. Nothingburger that wont affect balance in air battles in any way
ok gonna need someone to tell me what im looking at here
Man I love PT-91. That properly boxy ERA without gaps looks so good
That’s debatable, 15E is a very mid airframe for arb
at the end of the day not a lot you can do, israel will get a rafale sooner or later and will immediately have one of the best jets in the game so eh
I mean the F-15SG is cool and all but I have the oddest of feelings it will get added with the EX and then Israel is back to having a mid fighter since in the new jets the F-15SG is probably gonna be near the bottom of the barrel
airframe mid sure everything else no and it is the best 14.0 with few exception for possibly the two Mica slingers.
I also don’t know if that’s “Debateable” preferences can affect what players prefer obviously i.e. people who prefer slight bit more nimbleness will choose the f16C but in game wise taking in the META it is the most effective JET for the US
That is probably my guess its most likely why the F15C GE feels so lazily implemented/rushed they had to release it before the EX or AESA F15E.
I know you’re just passing along the (same tired) response from the devs but I have to again implore them to reconsider:
The Python 4 issue is one of incredibly few times where this premise of parity between nations has been held firmly and, at least as the missile is currently implemented in-game, one of the least impactful ones.
-
There was no parity with other nations when the AIM-54 as the first ARH was added.
-
There was no parity with other nations when the R-27R/ER with IOG+DL (and kinematics but I’ll refrain) as a SARH was added. (Which is a real shame because I think an F/A-18A with Aim-7P would have been an excellent addition to bring balance had it come during the early 4th Gen + SARH top tier days)
-
There is no parity with other nations in regards to the MICA seeker buffs. It’s understandable if no data can be found to provide quantifiable characteristics on other missiles to bug report them but at some point Gaijin will have to make a judgement call for gameplay balance as we get to super modern fully classified tech. All the other ARHs share a copy pasted seeker despite being totally different irl and significant improvements definitely were made for later variants of missiles existing ingame(C-5, 77-1).
Israel has likely the least potent airframes in the game at “top tier” with the obese 15I and 16I in terms of all the major metrics, flight performance, max missile payload, and avionics. They won’t even have an AESA platform and other nations are beginning to get massively powerful improved variants of their existing AESA fighters. Receiving a highly threatening IR missile in a radar missile meta while being deficient in the radar missile combat department would provide some much needed pros for the cons.
And as for introducing parity with IIR’s for other nations at the same time? The Python 4 would be DOA at that point as it’s far older and less advanced than the missiles the devs are referring to (the Python 5 is their contemporary). It’s time in the sun should be now while it can.
like as far as I am aware the F-15SG doesnt have the same kinda gimble to its radar that the EFTs or the Su-30SM2 has, so it gets 12 missiles (2 more then the EFT and the same as the SM2) yet probably still has worse over all agility compared to the EFT and then doesnt have the ability to maintain a radar lock in the notch like these 2 planes.
Bottom picture.
Perfection.
