Well unfortunately to answer your question, I have too. As the Malaysian sub tree is main content for Japan this update that brings 3 very significant aircraft to the tree.

I actually might legitimately not touch US top tier till next update spading the F15C GE wasn’t difficulty and it wasn’t bad but is just played like the C half the time at a higher BR which in itself is not a problem its just you consistently now face the better airframes with the same missiles or better which kinda sucks. plus I want to note that the AESA scan radius on it is so small that manually using the F15E can give identical results.

its driven me insane

I’m gonna guess they’ll add an AESA F-16 next.

Since we know rank 9 is coming early 2026 99% sure it’s going to be in the march update. And we also know that ARM’s are set for the first half of 2026 so what better aircraft to add than the next F-16. (Even though there’s a gap in rank 8 for it).

And since the PoBIT is pretty much the same as the Block 70/72 it adds an option for China (through Taiwan) and to Israel (through Greece).

That’s actually my problem though I personally have never been a fan of early cold war and below f104 and f8’s are the lowest I tend to play in USA,

luckily I grinded out the entire us techtrees before it came to this so I don’t have to suffer. plus I can anyways just play Germany or the rafale it just sucks to watch the vehicles I actually like playing being butchered, like some of the fixes are easy and they just wont implement them

okay I have to ask what in the world is the PoBIT, ima have to look that up now lol

Why was there not a significant aircraft added to Israel when they desperately needed one.

Shameless plug.

Post Block Integration Team (or PoBIT for short) and is an upgrade program for the US F-16C/D Blocks 40/42/50/52 to keep them serving until 2040. It’s basically just upgrading older F-16’s to a similar standard to the F-16V Block 70/72’s.

Most notably it adds the AN/APG-83 SABR AESA Radar, AN/ALR-69A(V) Digital Radar Warning Receiver (DRWR), AN/ALQ-257 Integrated Viper Electronic Warfare Suite (IVEWS), and an upgraded cockpit.

Ill give it a look thx for link

dude its possibly still coming with the dev extended worse case you literally wait a month, AESA doesnt fix everything lol

They dont “desperately need one” but aside from that they simply dont have any options rn.

It wasn’t used for as long as other Scimitar variants, and there were far, far fewer of them. Could see Gaijin treating that almost like prototype/event territory rather than TT.

What it has going for it is that it’s got the best thermals (3rd gen) and a slightly more powerful engine to offset the additional armor weight on the BGTI and E-SPIRE versions that are in the files. So it can go at a slightly higher BR than other Scimitars and spread things out rather than having a lump of them at basically the same BR that will probably just get foldered.
Bad points are that it’s tall as hell

With the SM2/AESA EFTs/Rafales dominating top tier 1-2 weeks from now I think it’s okay to say that Israel needs a 14.3 yet that can compete, just like all the nations that didn’t get the SM2/AESA EFTs/Rafales.

Still surprised they didnt just C&P over a Rafale yet

Clearly a second Rafale for the French tree was a higher priority it seems lol.
