This “Block II” we are supposed to be getting it not only built by Australia, but also contains Australian-led modifications after feedback from the original boxers they got.
This particular one is Rheinmetall’s initial demonstrator, so it’s not been adapted by Australia at all.
IIRC Block 1s were built in Germany and assembled in Australia with fittings to Australian spec. Block 2s are built in Australia with a greater degree of Australian design input.

But its not though is it? As others said isnt this version the 1 built by the Germans offered to the Aussies, not the 1 built by the Aussies? (with a classic gaijin named it wrong/modelled wrong one moment)

Events arent gap fillers
The name is “Boxer CRV Block 2,” and that name was found before the model. So it’s a case of the wrong model here, when it’s supposed to be the CRV Block II.
Hence why it is a “supposed to be getting” in my comment.
