Side aspect all ranges till around 1.5 km 9m better

I bring 2, sling an R27ER at the EFT, then fire the R27ET. Most of the time they don’t defend with flares until its too late
Right now, AIM-9M and AIM-120 have both the same problem;
Ingame, meta-wise, it’s AGILITY and tracking that matters the most. The ability to hit targets within ACTUAL INAGME ranges and typical engagements.
What does it matter whether your missile has “a theorical range advantage” past practical gameplay ranges or not, if it’s going to be unable to hit an enemy as soon as they pull a gentle turn, while their missiles will literally pull 270º turns at point blank to chase you down to the end of the Earth?

You just don’t understand, gaijin finds actual copy paste harder than the convoluted BS we’ve been getting recently (Pakistani Oplot, US NASAMs, etc)
They promised us greece, which solves literally ever problem with the Israeli tree, and then when it comes to actually using the nation they stated was coming, to add vehicles to israel… suddenly it becomes a ‘long term plan’ 🤦♂️

MICA doesn’t work for dogfight scenarios because of seeker arming time though, R-73 is way better
am not gonna wait until this damn update comes live to see if they add something, and taking in count that i asked 4 times to smin if there is something for israel for air and they didnt answered let me tell you that the things might turn dark for us this update, they are pretty much evading all question regarding israel right now.

Yeah, people seem to overly fixate on “range” as being an advantage, when its just not.
Maybe if they enabled DL till impact on the 120, so they were far harder to defeat?

What world are you living in my friend? Just go on statshark and see rafale winrate. The mica is the best missile in the game. There also are no stall fights going on in top tier, only medium and short range one circles where the mica dominates.

MICA is best missile in the game by a long margin…
Except in a WEZ-jammed dogfight, where the R-73 is better because it arms its warhead off the rail, while the MICA has a signifigant delay causing it not to fuse
