Major Update "Line of Contact" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

Give it time to transfer over

Its almost as if the eurofighter has faster scan limits and the devs just said, “marketing lie” again.

The same thing would’ve happened to irbis if it had scan zones above ±60 degrees…

Like it’s hard to just change the scan period if it’s <70 degree scan area

Nah I agree it’s just incompetence form the devs but at the same time why attack irbis? Makes no sense. 2 different situations

I wasn’t attacking irbis, just showing the double standard. Irbis is still missing a ton of range just like a lot of radars in game.

god im gonna be busy, need to grind the boxer event, and probably the tarkov winter event as well ahhhhh

will that matter with our 50km maps ?

Basic C.10’s in Columbian service used Elta EL/M-2032 at some point tho:

Not really

Probably not, but I’d still rather it be modeled correctly.

Well it currently maxes out at like 80km for a fighter sized target. which for a radar that can supposedly see, track and fire against fighter sized targets in excess of 200km, this is a problem. in narrow scan modes it should be able to see targets at 400km.

It should be 150km for MPRF

So it’s slightly underperforming in game but not by much

Thats more than 50% underperformance.

same for the other New radars like the CAPTOR-E

pretty much exactly the same even

I said that.

but that’s not a Double standard

all AESA Radars are just currently badly implemented and miss half their Range and modes

Well we had the best Radar in the game for 6 hours

IRBIS however seems too good to be true but in game gets the benefit of being Russian.

This was refering to the lack of range on many radars in game.

The double standard comes from them nerfing the scan rate on the ECRS 1/2 because it’s another “marketing lie.” not the range yet irbis is unchanged.
