Yep but I feel like they’re going to limit themselves to only WW2 and modern because to them “the major of people are interested in that” which isn’t true at all
ehh idk ww1 sounds cool on paper but if they start off similar to enlisted we start in the interwar which is practically the same thing with pretty much everyone using bolt action rifles
It would mainly be for the vehicles really. A lot of tanks can’t be added right now since they were meant for dealing with infantry only. If we see infantry expanded all the way back to WW1 then those tanks could be added.
Which then opens up access to the aircraft which a lot of people have asked for already.
But even then mix in some of the AI infantry from the even and have each team try capturing the other’s trench could be fun.
as long as they arent the begining tanks and planes of a tree sure, I dont want to have to play a machine gun tankette to have to research an actual tank

One of the ideas that made me make this suggestion actually was to have a rank below reserve tier but make the research go backwards.
Basically have a rank 0 with WW1 vehicles and have it be optional to grind. Available to all players but if some wanted to skip it they could by just researching forward like normal but for people that want to play them can research back for them.
or a seperate “Great war” tree that’s Air, Ground and Infantry in one
Now that’s not solidering, Infantry can literally go back 2,000 years but saying that I’ll be more than happy so see themed events like say Roman era, Napoleon war ect. War thunder is in a really unique position here unlike other games

If someone can spend that much money on any hobby in general I doubt they’ll have issues when it comes to earning money.
so whats are the ideas for the other 3 vics in the winter event? obviously one of the 4 is the Mig25PD which is neat, I know I was talking with some people that think the Aussie Boxer CRV could be an event tank for the UK so that would be 2 what are the other 2 tho

How good are KD88s? Seems like a worse Maverick. At least on Wikipedia it states a max speed of .85 M and only TV seeker.
If we go off info from datamines, Gszabi did find s Japanese ship named Tosa in the files as a non-premium event vehicle.
Now of course dev server is subject to change so that might change blah blah, but I wouldn’t be suprised if it ended up as the top naval reward since it’s rank VI and 8.0.

OOOF 8.0 is mean for the Tosa its an interwar dreadnaught, so its not very fast and has no AA, it does have 10 total 16inch gun tho still thats rough

Personally, I’m happy that Sep v.2 finally has LWS, and it even adds 30 more smoke bombs. Finally, as an American player who focuses on playing in the backline, I won’t have to worry about getting shot in the head by laser missiles and dying in confusion.
