Sometimes they just do that for absolutely 0 reason lmao. I also have a feeling some fighters are being delayed and added a bit “late” because they want to introduce the premium version. F-18 was literally 2 years late. F-2 took its time.

They wont, as they dont treat 40km effective range as a 40km effective. They said themself, effective around 15.

Well they did seem to say on the russian stream that the SLM effective range would at most be ~12-15km iirc.
