I think if people’s fixed wings are finding it harder to survive, we may well see a notable uptick in the amount of helicopters. (Particularly the F&F ones). Those are always going to be somewhat challenging for these multi vehicle batteries to deal with.
fixed battery means good target for GPS ammo spam.
and they really not so much better. ISIS-T SLM is just ~177mm x ~3370mm, same diameter but shorter than AIM-120.
so if you stay in 10+km, and do some maneuver, you can get rid of them
Stopping them from launching is still going to be impossible, because they spawn close enough to fire them off instantly.
What’s going to make or break these new SAM’s is how much better they will be at intercepting munitions than what we have now. And their ability in that regard remains to be seen.
On the bright side, having multi vehicle mechanics means we can start adding thoroughbred interceptor systems like Iron Dome going forward.
I wish, but helis are the most dangerous I find since their guns are accurate enough to be too dangerous to go after if they’re focused on you.
But also, with DL, helis might die to these SPAA too since really the only solution is to line of sight and by doing doing that they aren’t attacking the enemy. Only a few helis I think have FnF weapons to get away with that
i mean only 38mt can do that
so
the multi vehicle problem is that
where to place them cuz most map are small as hell and there isnt a place for them to hide or move to other than spawn, hell even some map spawn are ass so there isnt a way for them to be safe, there would just be one little rat and definitely one little rat is gonna go to spawn and kill them and run away
map needs to be big, like huge for these things to get fully utilized otherwise ADATS or Ito is good enough, those 2 can hide and run, these? one HE and kaboom given that SLM has big boi radar
Yeah that’s true, some maps are going to be very problematic.
On the other hand though, some guy setting up his launchers in some woodland is going to be really difficult to counter.
What I really like about these multi vehicle systems, is that it’s going to encourage people to actually first spawn AA, so they have time to properly set up before the CAS is up (as opposed to getting trapped in spawn later).
It’s going to be very interesting though when the nations with multi vehicle systems are all on one team, lots of them first spawn, and the team just gets rolled because the other side all out numbered their MBT’s massively lol. People are really going to have to start paying attention to the scoreboard to pick when they should / shouldn’t first spawn them.
Irrelevant as Canada isn’t a sub or independent and you want to claim them as your own anyway so again pointless.
As for NATO who is in charge of yes the US that’s why they spend the most and this is how they exploit other members, they threaten counties who make their own aircraft the Saudis almost brought the Mirage 4000 but you came in and under cut the French by making a better offer.
and intern it’s another nation using a US aircraft and you complain about the US loosing it’s “Uniqueness”, so if you want the US to be more unique then stop under cutting other nations
No, the Saudi’s were testing the M4K at the time you made your sudden offer. Why bring up the Tornado’s it was an aircraft were looking at buying and it’s not in the same situation as the M4K & the F-15
