the raptor got the the HMD tho , only recently but it did
depends on how you interpret the sentece imo
it is possible to interpret it like you did
but i personally would read the sentece more like it means that the F-15 in general is older than the F-22 and not the EX, especially because it talks about the F-15 in general in the sentece before
I don’t think it’s that specific, it 's an indication that the next naval reward could be Japanese atleast.
Or that JPN bluewater will get a new top premium pack sooner rather than later, in the updates following the current one.
if you need to notch more than 5 missiles (normal in a top tier game) while also having to preflare ir missiles, those cms will run out quick. Also, canards don’t matter whatsoever, as you can see in the su-33/su-30 FM being the basically same as the normal su-27, just heavier.
edit* okay looks like the fm is actually different due to the canards but because its still going to be much heavier than the normal 27 it’s going to have less aoa in actual games
It might not be that specific, but they do like to give out rewards that are vaguely related to the vehicle in question.
So I’d imagine that we’re either going to get our first submarine (God willing we won’t) or we’ll see Kitakami. Or they’ll really throw us for a loop and add another Matsu or something lol.
I also don’t think it has anything to do with the next top tier pack since it’ll be Nagato, and she has nothing to do with Kaiten torpedoes.
I really don’t know what else it could be used for if not for a naval event, presumably involving a somewhat popular torpedo cruiser.
what armament/cms would the yf-23 even get?
If i recall correctly, the prototype of it could not carry ir missiles at all, and only carried dummy amraams
Which aircraft are we talking about? I was referring to F-2 which is 120 and they’re all single pop so just as good as say the F-15J(M) with 240 CMs.
Yes way, it’s that good lol. Unless you have thrust vectoring missiles, HMD is useless in a dogfight and more detrimental. The F-2 in particular does not have those kind of missiles so really it is not going to suffer without it. Vertical ACM is also only good to get that lock and get that auto-gun lead on deflection shots but if you’re aim is good you don’t even need it. In addition, the ACM is godlike because it’s just super fast and not buggy. It instantly locks anything that comes into view with zero delay.
But that’s the thing, it’s a ground RB plane that isn’t going to be able to get close enough to do anything without being spotted.
I think Gaijin will make up values for game balance just like they nerf and buff things all the time. I don’t expect reality. That being said, it was also leaked that Gaijin is working on stealth as a whole so who knows what they will end up with.
Plus there is some BR balance implications later down the line as some Gen 4.5s like EFT/Rafale/F-2/etc already have some stealth capabilities that aren’t modeled and if they do later, might be problematic
They are most likely the lowest achievable values under extremely specific angles.
Not to mention no band was mentioned, as RCS changes a lot with frequency.
It’s like showing the photo of a rainbow, and saying the photo is red, cherry picking in simple terms.
This doesn’t help the fact that CIA themselves have said in their unclassifies files that they deliberately do “leaks” of RCS regarding b2 in the past to prevent soviets from acquiring them in real leaks.
Wasn’t there some story, not sure if true, when the designers were testing the stealth capabilities on a test stand, they had to go out and check if it was actually there because the readings were so low?
Wasn’t sure if that was the F-22 or some other aircraft but I found that funny
