I will not voice my opinions about the quality of the pilots involved, but rest assured as far as the video game War Thunder is concerned, I do not see how F-22 will be anything but the best plane we’ve seen so far, especially in dogfights.
They’re going to figure out how to add fake vehicles without upsetting the fun haters. Or they’ll just do it anyway, but very slowly. Boiling the frog slowly kind of thing.
F-16AJ and R2Y2 haters are not going to like 2026 and beyond.

New vehicles makes them money, and vehicles that aren’t in half the trees already make even more than that.

So without TVC, planes like the Gripen/F-2/J-10? will beat be able to beat it but with TVC, it’s going to run circles around anything, while floating (unlike the Su-30 which falls)?
didnt those F-22’s have fuel tanks? and the F-22 could have been in a defensive situation. and how many kills did the F-22’s score? pretty sure the Typhoons had no external armament as well.

I want them to go back a bit tbh, theres a lot of later cold war aircraft and LCAs etc they’ve missed in their rush for big shiny

I think the other interesting factor will be if we’ll see 9X and other advanced AAMs because dogfighting gets a whole lot simpler when those missiles are involved

Realistically implemented paper vehicles and assorted prototypes/crackpipe dreams/feverdreams are genuinely the only way this game will be able to go forward.

the F-15I has 360 countermeasures which is more than the US F-15E it also has slightly less drag because of the engine turkey feathers
I have no idea, but the point still stands that I dont think the F-22 would win just because it was american.
Typhoon and Rafale more than likely can go toe to toe with an F-22 in a WVR fight. Especially when you factor in that top tier isnt about guns but about missiles. Aim-9X is already going to be one of the weakest Gen 5 IRs and assunming the Typhoon can lock an ASRAAM or a Rafale can lock a MICA IR just fine, the F-22 wont even get into IR missile range, let alone gun range.
And vs the Gripen E or Typhoon with IRIS-T. You dont even need to have your nose on the target to win the fight.
The tricky bit is the stealth modeling. If it prevent anyone from using any ARH missile then it will be broken OP and if it does nothing. The compalining will be endless (well, will be if an F-22 is killed by any ARH missile)

I cant agree that a 120 CM difference makes the F-15E worse than the F-15I. Eespecially because the F-15E has 240!!
F-15E is the best f-15 and it just doesnt need BOL
I feel as if slightly less drag is a minor point…

I just think F-22 is gonna lose without TVC and with it, going to rely on the other person falling for the stall fight bait. If fighting Su-30 is any indication, the only advantage F-22 will have is BVR, if they model some kind of stealth at all.
Heck I think the Rafale is there already with the MICA changes on dev
its basically the USAF tactical bomber with its lack of turn performance and its fighting 4.5 gen delta canards. BOL pod would help it survive
Yeah, im not worried about the F-22 in the WVR regime. Its the balance of BVR regime. Im also more worried about how OP the SU-57 is going to be rather than the F-22 that I probably wont ever fight in SB.

isnt the F-15E not still one of the best BVR fighters in the game purely because it has 8 AMRAAMs and has insane thrust so can fire them off and turn before anyone can shoot back in retaliation
So by that logic, can the Tornado Gr4 get ASRAAM to help it survive against US F-16s and F-18s at the same BR?
