But Gaijin going from modeling them as normal CMs to then modeling them as 1/4 normal CMs 15 months later was clearly a deliberate action designed to reduce the effectiveness of BOL.
Inferring that there is deliberate nerfing just because they change something to what they think is more realistic and then fail to implement bug reports or otherwise talk about something…
They do this about literally everything, all the time. This isn’t even slightly unusual behaviour.

Given the fact that BOL was already underperforming when they applied the nerf. Yes it was very much an intentional and deliberate nerf. There is no other way of justifying the change.
If it was incompetence then that is just even worse.
But there is no way they could genuinely believe that BOL being this weak was in anyway realistic
Yet they did split the Finnish Hornet into a early version without HMD&CAS and a late version with HMD&CAS.

Yes but that is genuinely one of the worst planes in the game. YF-22/23 aren’t even remotely in that class of plane. I don’t think they’d do this now after so many HMD planes, unless it had poor performance in at least one regard.

My point here is we don’t get HMDless versions of very powerful planes. Apologies to F-2A fans but it is just not at the level of F-22A or Eurofighter and chums.

So we have BOL on Harrier Gr7, Viggen D, Tornado F3, etc etc no issues at all and then they just decide to reduce its effectiveness by 75+% just after the Gripen A/C was added and people were exploiting the hell out of them?

No. it was 100% a deliberate an intentional nerf to BOL specifically to nerf the Gripen and they were too lazy to deal with the colleteral damage.

So? Why doesnt every single US F-16 and F-15 has HMD because later variants have HMD?
F-2 should have HMD based upon the Rafale prescendence. But there is no reason why they couldnt add an F-22 (early) for 14.7 ish with 9Ms and Aim-120Cs and then a later F-22 with Aim-9X and Aim-120C8-Aim-120Ds.
Much like we didnt get a Typhoon FGR4 with ASRAAM and Aim-120C5s straight out the gate (the only A2A weapons it used prior to Meteor) and we’ll probably get a Typhoon FGR4 (late) with ASRAAM and Meteor at some point

We all now it would happen some time…
My concerns though…: Top tier has been the focus of Gaijin in the last few years. The F-35’s will be the top of the top Aircraft they could add having no more top tier jets being available after it.
Then what will the new focus be?
What are the plans after adding the F35’s and where will Gaijin’s focus go then?

But there are so many unfinished mechanics and models etc. That they have enough to keep them busy for the next decade without adding a thing.
I think we’ll see the focus shift from new vehicles to new mechanics
