What about a certain prototype missile developed for the F-35?
It should still be physically compatible since it’s based on the Meteor, but was sadly cancelled before ever being used on an F-35.

well i was thinking more 120C-7/D and 9x blk 1 for the early version

exactly, its just that the Lockheed F-35B that are assigned to testing are USMC ones. tbh i think its better for UK since they dont have to dedicate a couple airframes that you guys need for your carriers

they still have to participate by providing the necessary information and probably have some role in the UAI integration
it seems that people keeps forgetting about this, this was in october last year when they added the F-117 they already told us that fifth gens are being worked for me its not a surprise i actually expected this.

i mean just look at the jump from december 2023 with the Su-27 and F-15A, to 2024 with the F3R Rafale and T2/3 Typhoon. Late model Rafale and Typhoon to F-22 is less of a jump than base Su-27 and F-15A to the same aircraft
