Unfortunately no
Yeah, but I doubt 1, they are going to be all implemented in game, 2, superior to latter 4.5 gens. The stealth is where it is good, and flight performance wise IDK cause it looks pretty funky.
Idk, maybe it’s too recent and info is sparse.
Or the parent vehicle is too recent/secretive
this is a travesty
2S38, Lynx and PUMA are in game
In addition to this new plane to Switzerland, will there be a pack that will include others? A bundle?
Yea…
It’s the only reason I could come up with, I’m not saying those are good reasons however
Team must be focussing on other priorities
I don’t think it’s as bad as people make it out to be. F-35 agility can’t hold a candle to F-22 or Su-57, but that’s a very high bar.
SACLOS works by sending guidance instructions straight to the missile, which have no own seeker. So it’s not like SARH.
DL is actually more like SARH, but with lower update frequency (which can be arbitrarily high I guess). In the end here it’s the missile which guided itself, SACLOS it’s the launch platform, like the bullpup for instance but automatic.
F-X was also originally a 5th gen project, before it shifted to a 6th gen development and eventually merged with GCAP. From that time we still have quite a lot of progress towards this aircraft like radar, weapons bays, engines, TVC and a fuselage section (among other things) having been made as well as a flying demonstrator.
X-2/ATD-X demonstrator.
While not a combat aircraft it does still make Japan one of only a few nations that flew a domestic stealth aircraft.
It’s not so much a prototype as it was a research aircraft for the project though, which is why it doesn’t resemble any of the armed designs (save for one wind tunnel model that slapped a weapons bay inside it). It also uses the cockpit section from the Kawasaki T-4

The latest publicly known design for the 5th gen F-X program.
More images and some built components
26DMU internal setup. In this it still shows the wing root mounted secondary (SRM) weapons bays that were later moved to the side of the hull more akin to the configuration seen on an F-22 for example.
26DMU built hull section and structure. This also shows the space for the main (MRM) and secondary (SRM) weapons bays.
Prototyped radar and nose section. The radar was also fitted to ADTW F-2 501 for testing

Woe, 6 unbreakable coins be upon yee.
Warrior - 19 September 2018
Desert Warrior - 19 June 2024
Going by the current trend you’re gonna have to wait 6 years.
I’m sorry, those are the rules :)
now I have the 5 coins :3
Stop. you don’t know what are you talking. These aren’t IRST but Electro Optical Targeted System. Su-75 have both. J-20 also have both. And Su-57 only have an IRST that when its not use don’t increase the RCS of the plane.
ARH missiles have range. I think that’s the biggest defining factor.
They dropped the ball with F-2 and it’s coming later than it should have. We all called it at the time. The current F-2A ADTW could have been here as early as Air Superiority and F-2A as early as Seek and Destroy, but here we are.
At the very least it’s here now and it’s not butchered like say the EFT with it’s CAPTOR-M, so I’m happy
Yeah, it really depends on how you set the bar. An F-35A with full internal load is said to be comparable to a clean F-16, so not Eurocanard level, but also very far from being the bricks people seem to think they are.
But this is clearly a marketing lie since they don’t have rules, so what your talking about lol xD
F-35A does have much better AOA performance though than the F-16.
