Literally was about to say this as well, the AIM-9X and most likely the PL-10 both have datalink which means information from the radar can be provided to the missile. Additionally, DIRCM is less effective on missiles like the AIM-9X and PL-10 as both as mentioned before have IIR, DIRCM was mainly designed to defeat IR missiles like the AIM-9M and PL-8A/Python 3.

The AIM-9X itself isn’t a older system as well, what makes you think it can easily be defeated lmao? You said the SU-57 is immune to IR missiles which does include AIM-9X as it uses infrared tracking as a form of guidance iirc.

DL isnt percise enough to fully guid a missile in, if that were the case we wouldnt need ARH missiles

stealth for the f-117 hasnt even been properly moddled yet how are we sure gaijin would model it properly for 5th gen fighter
Hopefully we do see this, but it’s Gaijin so there’s a good chance they will drag their feet with this.
Just looking at a few the US there’s still the F-14D, F-16C POBIT, F-15EX, F/A-18E, AV-8B+ recent upgrades. Also twin seats like the F-16D, F-15D and F/A-18D/F.
Germany has basically just got another Typhoon before a Swiss F-35.
UK has another Typhoon, Harrier GR9/T12, Jaguar GR3, Hawk 200 with AMRAAM and ASRAAM.
Japan could get another F-2.
That’s just to name a few as obviously there’s some other aircraft the rest of the nations could get but even with that there’s not a lot so hopefully we will see some of these to bridge the gap between current top-tier and 5th gen stealth.
Unlike most, I’m not too fussed about more modern equipment in this update - what I really want is a CDK update! It would be nice if we could have more map models to put down (such as the detailed houses/destroyed houses etc.) and more CDK stability! I get just as much fun creating Sqn missions in the CDK as playing the game… :)

You typing it like its really hard to develop this new variants lol. Almost for every jet you described “game model” is same, all they change is just characteristics of radar and other stuff. Its just numbers in code, nothing hard. Planning for 5gen is obvious in game design
Just look up 101KS-O, it should have the ability to jam any optical or IIR seeker. It’s up to you to decide to believe it or not but that’s what they claim.

I’m just wondering, if the F-2 is a 4th++++++++++++++++++++ gen plane, how come it’s only 13.7?
I mean, even the Eurofighter, which is a 4th gen+ plane, is 14.0, surely an aircraft so powerful it needs an extra “+” for it’s “generational ranking” needs to be even higher, right?
