I’m pretty sure you can make at least a couple 1:1 lineups with the straight copy paste vehicles that exist
Are the ASM-1 and ASM-2s not sea-skimming? Or has sea skimming just not been added to them yet. Thanks
For a split second I thought they added ALBM :(
they just removed sea skimming from the AS34s so not sure its something that was modelled in game
yeah I know but the KH38 was the last thing that needed a buff to allow it to fire without line of sight at spawns
no they didnt remove it, they added it
oh must have miss read it
the kh-38 thread caused that
because it made ppl look at all the avaiable information about it
they also could have just not added the mode for the sake of balance like a certain mode of a certain british AGM
you know how they argument
the Brimstone was used as SAL only, so it is accurate
meanwhile you cant remove the middle part of the Kh-38 so that it dosent have GNSS
It at least could. Better than KH38MT. I have literally no issue if it was on SU25SM3 alone as well.
that argument doesn’t even work as the modes cant be removed from the missile and can be cycled through at anytime in flight and there was never an SAL only mode, it was actually a mode added later to the FnF modes.
So no they have chose to just not model something it should have and makes it ahistorical to not model it
gaijin made an mistake back then
it was fine on the su25sm3
but then they added the su34 which is also able to carry the kh-38 so they gave it to it
it is simply a case of gaijin not being able to think ahead
and also russia missing an IR guided ATGM
tell that gaijin not me
gaijins after everyone who likes a specific vehicle
I’d say having an option you can’t use in two modes is better than missing an option you want to use in the other modes.
Also matchmaking, where vehicles of one nation pitted against each other is simply weird, though I’d admit subtrees are also a bit weird in that sense, even if less.
So balancing all of this out is going to be complicated.
Kh-38 has GNSS, it’s going to get used.
New AD systems had the ability (fixed? IDK, been away for a week) to ghost out of boundaries. They have multiple vehicles, they’re going to be more survivable. They can be hidden well on some maps from most A2G weaponry approach angles, especially w/o GNSS.
GRB has CAS. CAS has always been part of GRB. CAS is too strong right now, especially Russian CAS, but that doesn’t change the fact that the balance is going to shift again regardless, even if CAS is still deadlier than some may like.
The fact that the IRIS missiles are basically unflarable, and can do essentially 360 degree loops, and have good range makes them difficult to engage in close range.
Nothing is easy here, and everyone is going to be upset.
its even worse for nations like the UK and Italy that have no new SPAA to defend against CAS and no buffs to their CAS leaving them with weapons that are only effective at close range where they are simply gonna die
