Major Update "Leviathans" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

It is actually in service in ROC army.

That is not a reason for not adding a tank, and never has been.

Neither has that been one.

T-72 was in East German service, thus why it was added.
ROC has Abrams T named ‘T’ for ‘Taiwan’.

Exactly.

It’s home to the ROC/Taiwan, so it’s perfectly fair to for their stuff, after all anyone who asks for them likely wants to make a line-up based around the nation.

Especially something like an MBT, which bar the thematic lineup I don’t think is exactly needed. However I support it’s additions due to point one.

you said:

and last time i checked

Taiwan =/= China

yes it has for sub tree additions
example being UK not getting the Rafale or Su-30
or Indian tanks

yes it is,
it was stated multiple times by @Smin1080p_WT before

Taiwan = Republic of China.

It also a bit hard to call them a sub tree when they make up the majority of the early tree.

Last time I checked “Republic of China” is a de-factor government of the Island of Taiwan and still maintains the claim for all of China (which includes the mainland, the island and some extras)

well yeah this is because PRC did not officially exist until 1949. they should have just full switched to PRC instead of keeping RoC

I mean it’s pretty much just a SEPv2 without era.

Seeing how there are multiple leos in different trees already, only thing an ROC Abrams will change is that now it will likely be played by nation mains that actually know how to use it, unlike the US mains.

sure lets ignore the context in which i was told that the M1A1 T is chinese

what other RoC ground stuff would there even be to make a lineup with at the BR?

when switching between the R60MK and R13m1 is there any modifications done to pylons on mig 21/23

wrong thread

ask in the mig-21 or mig-23 thread

@Smin1080p_WT could you maybe forward this one?

Its getting ignored since 5 months

It operated by ROC in the same way as DDR had Soviet T-72s. 141 allen could word it better true, but thats about it. And it doesnt change the original point: M1A2T can be added in Chinese TT because it operated by China (Republic of China)

Taiwan = China. The tree isn’t labelled PRC for a reason.

Maybe wait 1 patch or so? Also ROC is not a subtree of China, but is part of Chinese tech tree, however India isn’t one of UK.

And it didn’t stop 6 Challengers stacked up in 0.3 BR range with next to 0 difference.

Guys I think tomorrow we actually can get release of this update, after dev closing there’re window to release it, according to their past updates. And there was wednesday updates in past, even on thursday. If they plan to release it in next week, they would surely increase dev server to friday, but now they capped it to june 18(wednesday).
Can’t wait to test new AA ingame

dev reopened yesterday

It is Chinese. So are u saying Strv 122s aren’t swedish and MiG29 snipers aren’t romanian?

And the airfields will still be located only 15 km from the map?

PRC isn’t the common name? And then why does it have a PRC flag on the tree?
