Stupid decision though since it would be a good buff to the A-10C, Harrier GR7 and Tornado GR4. But it shouldn’t be limited to just one aircraft it should have been added for all that could carry it and use it.
Like ATFLIR that could go to the US F/A-18C Late, LJDAM’s for a lot of western aircraft, BOL pods for US planes just to name a few that have been kept special for some aircraft

seeker lock range would be much lower than 25km
11kg warhead so ~5-6kg HE or SAP-HE warhead
So not really any better than a spike

Some jets are using TIALD when they could use far more modern TGP and I wont believe TGP is a balancing decision or would risk BR increase.
The thing is since it doesn’t have a HEAT warhead it might struggle with MBT’s depending on loft angle
Yes it is, when no SNIPER on A-10 means it’s still limited to less AGM-65 and on the F-15E means it is still limited to only 120 countermeasures out of 240, while the F-15I gets 240 countermeasures even with the lantirn pod reduction

And all the EGBU’s, they have been in use with the US for a long time now. The F-117 should really have them
Aye, i get that, i just worry about a situation where an RU or CN Heli have 12+km F&F’s.
(Entirely because the only SPAA capable of hitting a Heli that far belong to those nations - It would be another KH38 situation where the only counter to the problem exists on the same team as it).
If they are limited to 8km though, that would be fine.

Id say the range really doesn’t matter in this case.
since any compete player would only be visible/out of cover for a few seconds with FnF ATGM’s like the Eurocopters, 129’s, Tigers, Shekel-Hawk ect. They’re already pretty unkillable if the pilot is competent. Only counter is a plane realistically
