Sure, but i still regularly see those current F&F’s get blapped by current AA often enough.
Maybe you could say they have ‘skill issue’ or whatever, but the point still is, in order to launch, they have to expose themselves to that threat.
A Heli with 12km+ F&F on the RU/CN team would straight up have zero threat from the ground, and given Chinese Helicopter’s have the extremely nasty TY-90, plus now immunity to IR missiles, they’d be perfectly capable of defending themselves in the air too.

I just find it strange that we have the F-15E and I with the upgraded engines but its still using the LANTIRN pods, I mean even a LITENING II or III would be nice. its definitely not a big deal but its just kind of a weird artificial nerf when almost every other plane at top tier has a LITENING pod and the CAS variant of the F-15 doesn’t get one.
All we can do is hope my friend, bug reports have already been accepted aswell.
And its already been in the files for a long time so now is the perfect time to add it since the ME is the latest version of the Z-10

If it was added a few updates ago I’d agree, but now the US, JPN, GER, ISR all have sufficient range.
And in the next next update probably the rest aswell.

I think this update is the perfect time to add them, they were a bit strong before the new SPAA
I agree. Adding this missile model to the Z-10ME is appropriate in the current environment — its arrival would perfectly fill the CAS capability gap in China’s tech tree.
reminds me of how the Harrier Gr7 has a gen 1 pod but the AV-8Bs have a gen 2
no BOL, no Sniper, nothing better than a Litening II, no LJDAM except on one jet, no EGBU, no PIDS, no AESA, no Laser SDB, no AGM-84, no Legion pod, no AN/AAS-42, no TISEO on F-4E

That report I made has been accepted for over 7 months now and absolutely NOTHING has been done with it despite me having the most irrefutable evidence from GIAT themselves.
Y’all remove the AMX-40’s turret composite for literally zero reason when doing the most basic of research (like I did when I made that report) would have consistently shown you that the AMX-40 has composite armor in it’s turret.
Now the AMX-40 has gone up in BR to 10.0… and STILL it completely lacks it’s composite armor.
The whole “Gaijin won’t touch reports even with the most blatant of evidence for multiple months if not years” reputation is wholly deserved and is nobody else’s fault except for your own.
yeah so the harrier could easily get up to gen 3, the worst part is pretty sure it also used later gen TILADs so should be gen 2 anyway
But they’re all IR/ARH. The former of which is defeated by D/L/IRCM, the latter of which struggles because heli’s have the RCS of a fruit fly in Warthunder.
SACLOS will remain the counter to Heli’s at long range, and the only ones with 12km+ are on the RU/CN team.
