And i’ve heard that 100 RPM might be too high and that IRL it was probably more like 60 RPM
It does have a 115RPM mode but in 3 round burst.
Also this thing is supposed to have SAPHEI, does it have it on dev, or is this so uninteresting that no one is bothering to look at it?
Also did they implement it’s unique 2 hopper system, they’re supposed to hold 15 and 25 rounds each (40 ready rounds), but they’re linkless and should be easy to reload.
Man, if the Badger is anything over 8.3 its going to be awful
sure is a good thing that Britain does not have an indigenous ifv that has a 40MM and a decent rate of fire
Has a 40 round ready rack, but I cant test drive it . so that is all that I can say on it
Yeah… Real shame the MoD never invested in anything
anybody tested the Comanche with these values yet?
Beautiful
CM-502KG, as a 11KG equivalent semi piercing high explosive IR missile, is completely non OP as a 12.0 missile
yes I agree, the other IR ATGMs in helicopters like the spikes are not even the most used and the most effective for one-shot, compared to AKD 10, CM-502KG would behave just like an AGM 65 IR but faster since it is fired from a static position compared to an aircraft that can launch it at mach 1.0, CM-502KG can very well be added without breaking the game, as I said above the big problem of the game at the moment is the KH38 and the CM-502KG and very far from having the performance of the KH38, the CM-502KG will just be a revolution for Chinese helicopters with an ATGM that has a maximum range of 25 km, knowing that the missile is already modeled
Of course, if Gaijin is afraid of breaking the game, they can always reduce the range by a few kilometers, but for me, China needs a new generation ATGM on its modern helicopters.
Maybe with AH-64E
Gaijin should give us AH-1 with MavD tbh if they wanna give US a FnF Heli missile. balanced by the fact it can only actually carry 2
Or JAGM-MR for AH-1Z and SPIKE NLOS on a future AH-64E
no JAGM-MR. uses MMW guidence which is a no no rn for Heli A2G missiles rn in WT
They can scrap the MMW and use the IR and SALH modes, similar to brimstone
Spoiler
and we can also talk about the “snake fire 70A” which are the same laser rockets of the JF-17 (snake fire 90A) but 70mm that the Z-10 can also fire
and we’re still waiting for the new pod for the Z 10 to carry more rockets but gaijin refuses for no reason it’s just the same rockets but in a bigger pod ( FS 70 )
I hope T-T
You might be getting it confused, JAGM-MR has an IR seeker within its tri mode seeker. JAGM-F is the one that is only MMW and SAL. Its been used on helicopters like the ah1z and AH64s and they also state its compatible with all JAGM users so it has the potential to be used on planes.
Glad they’re adding a Humvee to the game, though I decided that I would give my opinions on the model and my observations.
First, the generator on the back is a 10kW generator. I’ve never worked on them but I have seen them around.
The 10kW
The next thing I noticed were all the cans in the back. For some reason, they are all water cans. And there are 10 of them!!! Is this crew really well hydrated? Does this generator run on water? What could I be missing here?
Water
From the driver’s perspective, the mirrors are really well-adjusted. Technically you don’t need to have the right side mirror out there if you have a reliable TC.
Mirrors
The doors themselves are the non-ballistic doors. The latches are a pain (not as bad as the cloth doors) and the windows can be hard to move depending on how old the doors are.
Doors
Into the engine bay, the entire generator is missing. Like, the washer tank and pump are there, but not the generator? How does it generate power?
Harry Potter and the Missing Power Source
This one is kinda bad. The gauges are basic and don’t have the correct graduations, with the battery not even close to what it should be. The speedometer is sitting at 35 mph while parked (we’ll get to this later) and everything is sitting far below the stopping point for the needle. Also the high beam light is orange instead of green.
The dash to end all dashes
This part is strange. First of all, the parking brake is engaged. Then on the right, the transmission shifter is set to neutral. Not exactly a great combination, but even though this is supposed to be the M1097A2 it doesn’t have the newer transmission selector so it gets a pass for now. that’s not the worst part. To the left of that, the transfer case shifter is set somewhere between high and neutral, which is a great way to make magic confetti.
How to actually not park a HMMWV
Excuse me? What did you call me?
WHAT???
The passenger side does not have a NATO cable receptacle, so it cannot be attached to another vehicle to charge.
Seat
On top of that, there are no batteries under the seat. So, with the water-generator, the lack of a generator, and no slave cable receptacle, the HMMWV has no power at all.
No charge
Oh and there’s no horn as far as I can tell.
Hornless
This part is fun. First of all, the ignition switch is upside down and I have no idea what it’s supposed to be on here. Second, it looks like the words are “ELR, HELP, SPIN” which is kinda funny. The light switch has the lights off entirely, which isn’t out of place in War Thunder and also a good way to not waste the battery that this truck doesn’t have, plus the settings on it are incorrectly spaced and it’s missing one position entirely. And the parking brake indicator is orange instead of red.
Light switch of fun
Off to the right we see the indicator switch, which is missing the hazards tab, and it is also not green enough. The air filter restriction indicator is also wrong entirely.
Indicate this
Speaking of indicators, why are the lights red? Why is just the center orange? Why are there prominent circles in the middle?
Circles
Why the circles???
Circles!!!
Those are all of my observations for now. I can’t do this with the actual M1097 that carries the missiles, but I’d do that one too if I could.
