The J-10 was loosely inspired by the Lavi, however nothing more. It’s very much its own thing.

The only “remotely interessting” design they made is the J-20. And the new flying doritos ofc but they are demonstrators at best atm. Sooo ehhhhh.

Personally i see china copying things as a metric of whether or not something is a good design.
Therefore the Blackhawk is obviously the best transport helicopter ever designed and the Flanker is the best fighter in the world.
