The M829 is getting a serious nerf, but it’s not the top round anymore on any vehicle so it doesn’t really matter.
It’s not, it has stuff like MLC modeled differently then the F-16, and the raw figures on it are different.
I do have a bug report accepted on some stuff wrong with it, but it’s just stuff that would make it better. It’s current performance is very close to expected aside from compressing way way too much.
It does have like, 1 square meter of extra wing area then it should, but that’s not going to noticably make it much worse.
Actually scratch the ‘IFV’ part, I forgot 50% of the reason its so abysmal is that its not an IFV, they didn’t make an ifv variant…
Best you get is a shoddy APC with a .50 cal. Rather than a full on IFV with a 40mm turret and 7 dismounts

Its literally like the third or fourth worse 13.7, it’s much closer to needing moving down to 13.3 then it is moving up.
Turn fighting should not dictate the BR of stuff alone, or else the Ki-27 would be 14.0.

So its nice to finally find someone who realises that dogfight performance means bugger all at top tier

Typhoon isn’t only “one of the best gunfighters” though, that thing is also one of the few planes that can somwhat keep up with the F-15E/I (pre update, so only AIM-120B) in bvr.
Id agree with you, if its radar wasnt a placeholder/complete buggy mess. BOL had been fixed and a few other issues.
Still awaiting the CAPTOR-M to be modeled and with the amount of things getting AESA. Its probably about time it gets AESA too.
It’s not like the F-15E/I radar is that special/solid. Everything I’ve dealt with using the EFT radar I’ve also dealt with using the F-15E/I radar to some extend (less in some aspects, but worse in others) ever since they introduced TWS+.
There is only 1 plane with an ESA radar equiped plane that can somewhat do long range BVR, the Su-30SM. So again the EFT is not alone in this aspect.

Still waiting for the Gaijin to allow weapons like the Kormoran and the ASM series missiles to be launched at a location, like GPS/GNSS weapons. Their INS guidance should be able to operate similarly to GPS/GNSS guidance.
