considering armor of Iowas and speed of Shipwrecks, I think the Iowa could tank them no problem
any attempts to hit softer areas would be shot down by CIWS or just get tanked
Its the equivalent of 1000kg of explosive with kinetic energy of a missile travelling at mach 2+
20 so even if 5 get through thats a crippled/sinking warship

in ARB its gonna have less of an impact but for GRB and Sim its gonna make it a pretty stong plane since you got basicly “20-40km IR-Missiles” that only MAW will detect.

Then its warhead would be similar to 1000lb bomb since warhead weight is not just pure explosives
Uh we may have a slight issue with the premium F-2 ADTW, uh, do we want it to get AAM-4s or not is the question. Cause as it currently is it should, and lots, lots more.

missiles are part of the vehicle balance
and as it stands, the early F-2 was only able to guide Fox-1s or the AAM-4 in a Fox-1 mode

So, no, it has the J/APG-2, which can guide them, which while it should be the initial test which didn’t get them irl. The plane also has the J/AAQ-2 and JDAMs, which are only found on airframes with upgraded OFPs. And since it has both the J/APG-2 and the upgraded OFP, AAM-4s are fully functional on it.
The poll where i referenced is for whether we want it to lose the J/APG-2/Jdams or gain AAM-4s
