Just had the thought, with the new SPAAs, shouldn’t there be another round of top tier BR rise? I mean IRIST FB10A and especially Derby are all capable of FnF and are definitely not 12.0 as with the rest, even Pantsir is dwarfed by the existence of these.
Where do we want top tier to end up?
i wouldnt say theyre that good for now. i flew against one yesterday to test in both helis and a planes, its very easy to just either work the missile into the ground, stay out of range, and you can always do some cringe multipathing if its a radar missile.
you basically need to play like a bot to die to these as it stands
one is mega cancer and the other isnt
(C5 has a lot more range thanks to a new motor, clipped fins so less drag, irl it should have a new seeker but wt has a history of creating their own so idk about that)
that, and they basically wont shoot down your bombs or missiles if they dont do it fomr 7km km away or sm.
heli gameplay kinda just doesnt change at all
seems to not be fully implemented currently because I haven’t really gotten that much more range out of them on the dev server. I had C-5 pretty easily defeated at ~30-40km range.
EDIT: talking about air launched C-5s of course, not the ground launched.
lets hope, for the sake of balance, thats on purpose. im perfectly fine with them being on the f18 in a more powerful form becausew the f18 can only dream of launching them from high up at high speeds, but anything faster than that is just too early
It isn’t. It’s 1. Just a bit like SARH, and u don’t need to manually guide it, but ur radar lock have to be maintained 2. Extremely inconsistent and a single chaff will do cause it creates a brand new target for Pantsir’s PESA.
idk man, none of this lines up with how ive been using it. sure the sarh is accurate, but as far as the player is concerned that might as well be fnf, and so far, when i abuse this, people kinda just die because it doesnt suffer from latency in the same way our aim does, chaff or not.
besides when i was flying out the ka52 against the iris we found out its not exactly immune to flares either
