how whould that be usefull?
I guess you don’t play sim and you never bother to flank in realistic battles lol
Well even in sim you will see the target whre it is and the aprox range all a jammer does is not showing you the exact range therefore u cand fire a missile at long ranges
at least in dcs it works like this and i think its the single way of adding such a system
No, most of the ones that are based on real locations are to-scale. The flaklands just happened to be larger than what is currently possible due to game engine limitations so they shrunk it.
Huh, I knew that Berlin and the few island maps were 1:1 scale, but a lot of the other maps that are based on real locations feel much smaller than they should be.
I guess for ground maps the size of the vehicles and for air maps the speed of the planes messes a lot with the sense of scale. Well, that and the fact that the maps are historical WW2 locations, so the towns tend to be much smaller than they are nowadays.
I was trying to ask if anyone had anymore information from datamines.
I just want to know why then? I’m not trying to be annoying or anything but it just seems weird why other nations get it iykwim.
Ok that’s good then
And when you are going to fix the UPK-23-250 ? Pod is nearly 5x lighter then it suppose to be… reported like 3y ago…
A group of people are shouting ‘PVE’ in the naval battle server and not letting anyone else handle PVP. Why don’t you just shut down the naval battle server,This has seriously affected the gaming experience of normal players
Ok I think all bugs have been fixed. We are ready to drop the update. 👍🏻
We usually get update on Tuesday morning or evening?
What exactly am I looking at here and why are the target distance 500m, the initial speed 500km/h and the launch altitude 1m?
just showing that 120C has less maneuverability (the last thing an amraam needs is even more range)
And you try to visualize that by choosing extremely unrealistic and unlikely launch conditions?
it gets the point across
Which is really dumb, that is precisely what the C5 upgrade should have given us. The WVR performance. I guess the meta will be to run a mix of B and C5s
if gaijin made the 120C less maneuverable just because it has smaller fins then imagine what they are going to do to the ASRAAM
Shudders
Yeah… Im not looking forward to the “we dont understand how a missile without TVC can do 50Gs.”
But yeah C5s is a rather pointless upgrade. It doesnt even have a better seeker to the A/B
I believe the C-5s are still not modelled correctly, but if those are the final stats I’m completely fine with them.
The AIM-120A/Bs are good enough for WVR.
The AIM-120C-5 will be nice for the BVR LARP crowd.
(I still don’t understand the graph posted by Wade tho, looking at the Y-Axis elements on statshark suggests better short range performance, the missile just takes a bit longer to reach the target distance wise due to lower acceleration)
